The ExMI Wall Chart is a big 24"w x 36"h wall poster of reference information for makers and lovers of musical instruments. It includes charts showing frequency, pitch & wavelength relationships, just and tempered scales, the Sachs-Hornbostel musical instrument classification system, typical overtone content for common vibrating forms, standard music wire gauges, scale factors for equal temperaments 5 through 24 plus 31 and 53, a set of useful formulas & values, and intervals relative to the fundamental for the harmonic series through the 32nd harmonic.

It's all beautifully laid out and decorated with artwork by Gwendolyn Jones. The printing is in one color (dark blue on a nicely textured, heavy-weight stock). Much of the information here is duplicated in the book Musical Instrument Design and some of it is in Air Columns and Toneholes (both also listed in this catalog), but you can't hang the books on your wall for handy reference. And think of the interior-decorating possibilities!

Because these posters have to be coiled and shipped separately in tubular mailers, we've added an extra handling charge to the cost.
